Jeremiah Green, drummer/co-founder of Modest Mouse, died at 45 of cancer.
Not sure how long he'd been fighting it before the news, but his diagnosis was only reported like 10 days ago.

RIP Jeremiah Green. His role in Modest Mouse cannot be understated. Phenomenal drummer. They’ve long been one of my favorite bands and had a pretty big influence on my own music.

After his acting career Tommy Rettig ended up having a very successful career in IT. He and I got to be pretty good friends and he was an important mentor to me. Anyway, this pic is from his acting days when he took Marilyn Monroe as his date to the premiere of a movie he was in.
