Huge bummer of a story out of Connecticut this week, a prep school player died after falling and getting his jugular nicked by a skate blade.

Wow! That is a major bummer. I can’t imagine the scene and the feeling of uselessness in not being able to stop the bleeding. Being there and not being able to help would haunt me the rest of my life.

I was watching the game when it happened to Clint Malarchuk. They saved him but it is still haunting.
