I get that maybe they didn’t like any of these Cs but he just spent back to back mid 30s picks on D projects. We can draft a C project too. You can never have too many Cs, you can shift most all of them to winger as necessary. We can’t continue to ignore the most important position on the roster and pretend we’re rebuilding.

Zeev is a LD, Wings have plenty of them so we don't need him.
He's a winger with Florida not a center...so he wasn't wrong.WingFanInA2 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:47 pmHow about now?holytoledo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 4:13 pm I don’t think Reinhart is a top 6 C on a contender. Definitely wouldn’t move a first for him in our situation.

If Kane does not re-sign, Rhino could be an option, like Guentzel or even Debrusk.WingFanInA2 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 8:37 amBut would you give up a first for him?
If the Kraken believes young center Shane Wright is a good complementary piece rather than a future star, the time to sell high is now. So here is a center option.........

What would you give up for Wright though?
Seattle isn’t going to give him up cheaply

No offense - but if you want a first rate UFA like Reinhart or Guentzel, he can't be second or third option.
He's got to be a guy you're sold on and that you're willing to pay for.
So, if you want Reinhart, he's not a "If Kane doesn't sign" guy.
He's a "Let's let our UFAs walk and go all in on Reinhart."
I don't think I'm sold on too many guys in this year's market that way.
