Toledo came back from 4-1 down to beat Idaho last night, 5-4. Series is at 2-1 Iowa.
Cossa with 26 saves on 30 shots.
Series resumes Friday night in, uh, T-Town.

Walleye are done, filleted by Idaho 4-3 and 5-1 in games 4 and 5 respectively. Cossa was pulled halfway through game 5 after allowing 4 goals on 9 shots. Eek.

1. Simon Edvinsson (790)
Notes: Sixth overall draft pick, big 6’5” left shot defenseman, excellent skater and very smooth for his size, good puck skills at high speed, two-way defenseman potentially like Victor Hedman
Projection: Top pairing Defenseman
2. Marco Kasper (573)
Notes: Top 10 overall draft pick, average size forward, solid puck possession forward at high speed, offensive-minded and sees the ice well
Projection: Possible top line but likely middle six
3. William Wallinder (533)
Notes: Early second round draft pick, 6’4” left shot defenseman, Two-way transitional defenseman, great mobility and puck moving skills, great stick when defending,
Projection: Second pairing defenseman
4. Carter Mazur (525)
Notes: Third round draft pick, average size right shot wing, plays with good pace and quickness, point produce, sees the ice well
Projection: Middle six forward
5. Elmer Soderblom (504)
Notes: Late round draft pick, huge 6’6” body who can move, good hands / plays in tight areas, game is in the corners to the net front
Projection: Third line with hands to score.

It’s a threepeat for the Detroit Red Wings. Detroit defense prospect William Wallinder is the 2022-23 European Hockey Club’s Young Player of the Year.
Playing for Rogle of the SHL. Wallinder was selected as the winner from a group of finalists that also included top 2023 draft hopeful Leo Carlsson (Orebro Hockey, Sweden), Leevi Meriläinen (Karpat Oulu, Finland), Aku Räty (Ilves Tampere, Finland), and David Reinbacher (EHC Kloten, Switzerland).

Our prospect pool is pretty sad after the top 3. Need to inject some offense into this bunch; hopefully, 5 of the top 45 picks in this draft will help with that problem.

Jérémie Biakabutuka is no longer on the Griffens roster. I guess he is a free agent. I don't seeany posts about him anywhere.
