Hope a team snags him and he has an immediate impact there. He won't be getting that opportunity here.

I don’t just because I hope a new coach will give him a better shot here next year, but if we qualify him I could see him returning to Russia too.Barbrady wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 3:48 pm https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sport ... 063168002/

That's so fucked up.
He was a first round draft choice who had a great rookie pro campaign with the Griffs and then has been hampered by injuries for the next 3 years. he is finally healthy, was off to a great start with the Wings this year when he was finally given a chance to play. The obvious thing to do was reward him with more ice-time and better linemates allow to gain traction from the confidence his early success must have inspired. Even if they don't like him, if he continued to produce, he would have become a asset with value that they could have got something for in a trade and if he didn't produce they're tanking anyway.

Wtf I guess that means Nielsen is playing smh
This is so stupid. I bet he gets picked up now. Anyone that puts up points for the wings should be looked at more serious by other teams. Kinda how other teams must look at Bernier...if he can put up those numbers and that record playing for the wings, he must be able to perform here type of thing.

Or he could have just stayed on the roster.
