Their jersey is getting hammered on Twitter as a 'practice' jersey. I guess.
I don't mind it.
Only jerseys I buy anymore are the ones I play in, so doesn't matter to me.

I'm not sure what fans were upset about. The Wings don't fuck around with their logo much. Is that what they wanted?

The Habs - the Blue is pretty striking departure, but the logo is the same.

The Leafs got gimmicky

Rangers went patriotic

Blackhawks stuck a logo in a circle.

Bruins- looks like Bruins jerseys

Uhh, you're god damn right they gotta make that make money. Ticket revenue is gone and ratings from the bubble were non-existent. These teams aren't free to operate.

Having said that, these seem like they were scared of offending traditionalists. . . If you're going to mess with the design (ONE TIME), why not really mess with it? Or could they have re-purposed some old Cougar branding?

The Avs/Nordiques one isn't perfect, but it's a good try.

It was my understanding there would be no math in the debates.

Should have made the grey parts red, then it'd be basically the 40's/50's jersey, which would have been cool.

I like the jerseys that have been pretty close to older ones, like the 09 (I think?) winter classic jersey. Don't care as much for the faux-vintage ones like 13 or 14 or whenever that was.
