Looks like Comcast has taken a stance. As of this morning, they've taken Bally Sports off the air. On the screen is a statement that says Bally is in bankruptcy and that Comcast has offered them multiple options to continue carrying them and that Bally has declined and so, Comcast no longer has the rights continue carrying Bally content. Bally was going to be history after the baseball season anyway, looks like Comcast ended their run on their system early

Seems like a good time for Illitch to create a Detroit sports network.

Chris Illitch and his trash family would be bilking customers just as bad as Comcast if not worse.
The dirtbag Illitch family doesn't need any more avenues into strangling Detroit than they already have.
Throughout history, every old man said the same thing about the younger generation. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'.

Well customers are going to get bilked no matter what.
Point is, Wings/Tigers/Pistons games are going to end up somewhere.

We need a cable/dish/net service that allows pay per view or subs to certain channels.
I remember thinking youtube.tv would be the future. They lost what became bally's due to bally's greed.
Bally's has value.
But lots of games are on TNT or ESPN. And Bally's doesn't do playoffs.
What's the fucking point?
Streaming it is...

AS far as I know, this only affects Comcast customers, though other carriers could follow suit. And it's all the Bally networks carried by Comcast around the country. Alot of baseball fans are going to be pissed if they're favorite teams were carried by Bally and Comcast.

Bally Sports recently announced deals with DirectTV, Spectrum and Cox. Comcast dropped them for now as part of negotiations.
As far as streaming goes, YouTubeTV recently dropped Bally. I don't think Hulu Live carries them either. Not sure about others.
A month ago Amazon announced a deal to carry Bally Regionals on Amazon Prime.
