Simon Edvinsson - Top 4 D all situations D. Not sure about offensive upside.
Jonatan Berggren - Middle six offensive forward who doesn't help on the boards or defensively - which will limit his TOI.
Sebastian Cossa - Starting goalie
Marco Kasper - Middle six/2nd line forward. Two way with grit.
Nate Danielson -Middle six two-way center. could see a 25-20-45 season.
ASP -PP defenseman who might struggle with defense.
Albert Johansson - 3rd pairing all around D
Carter Mazur - Bottom 6 forward who chips in goals and plays hard.
Trey Augustine - No reason to think he might not develop into a backup.
William Wallinder - I don't see how the Wings are gonna have room for everyone, but I think there's no shot, with his skating and size, he doesn't end up as at least a bottom pairing D.
Shai Buium - 6'4 mobile D with some offensive ability. Cautiously I think it's realistic to say he can be a bottom pair guy. Not really known for defense though. Obviously, the Wings have an issue here with too many bodies.
Amadeus Lombardi - In a tough spot. Gotta get stronger. I rate him higher out off hope. But he's probably a career AHLer or goes to Europe. I hope he can make it as a middle sixer.
Dmitri Buchelnikov - Probably stays in Russia. Has potential. But small and lacks skating.
Andrew Gibson- He's a RD which helps him out. Not sure if 3rd pairing or AHLer.
Anton Johansson - Another RD. Impressed by his playoff production. He's got decent size. Again, I've not seen anything of him really, so I don't know. Potential to be an NHLer, but anything is a pure guess.
Emmitt Finnie - Already got a contract. Not really sure.
Red Savage -4th liner/AHL. Need to see the skating. If he skates well, I think he makes it. But his skating didn't blow me away last year.
Cross Hanas - AHLer.
Dylan James - AHLer.
Brennan Ali - AHLer - but with a motor that could help him sneak in.
Emil Viro - Europe. If this were the kind of Red Wings prospect core we had 15 years ago, he'd be a great hope.
Noah Dower-Nilsson - Europe.
Kevin Bicker - Not sure. Probably Europe.
