How might the Wings acquire Patrick Laine? If we take on his entire cap would they take Copp and his contract? One bloated contract deserves another! CBJ is looking for a vet center. Of course CBJ would require a bit more . Would that be Copp and a 2025 1st? Copp and Berggren? More yet? If Laine can get his head straight and be that sniper he was just a while ago, it would be a huge win for who ever has him. Y probably doesn't want another head case, but does Laine turn it around?

Neither guy should cost that much. Between Fabbri, Copp, Rasmussen and Bert there’ll be plenty of injuries to call up some of the kids.

Bert & Mantha are more or less a joke, but I think there’s a shot either of them could be had on a one year deal around 4.5. If we’re out at the deadline Bert & Mantha should each return a second or so that we can piss away on a 6’5” d-man with little upside. Fabbri, Maata, Husso & Lyon could all be trade bait too.

I’m more or less fine with Perron & Fischer too.

Actually not that bad, but I think Y is due for a big swing. I also think Danielson might make the team some time next season. Maybe send Copp down mid-season to give him a spot! Getting a RD by trade or FA is the real priority.
