Yeah he is. Every time I had a chance to take him in a mock I just couldn’t do it due to his size.

Nill is doing a pretty damn good job there overall. They are a deep team, built well for the playoffs. I think Dallas, Colorado & Edmonton all have looked impressive. The only team in the East that has really impressed me is Florida.

I'd be willing to bet there's a clear correlation between how fucking terrible the Wings drafting has been and the year Nill left.holytoledo wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 7:18 amNill is doing a pretty damn good job there overall. Nill left in April 2013. We drafted Mantha & Bert in that draft. I’m not really sure who stayed and who went in the drafting & scouting department then. From 2014 on we have basically sucked at drafting/development.CoconutBackwards wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 12:51 pmI'd be willing to bet there's a clear correlation between how fucking terrible the Wings drafting has been and the year Nill left.holytoledo wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 7:18 amNill is doing a pretty damn good job there overall. I think our 2021 draft class still has a shot at looking really good. I mean at least 3 of the 8 picks look to be on target to have an NHL career, but 2 are top 15 picks. So even then that’s not saying much.
2018 is so-so, but that Zadina pick at the top just makes it look like a bust of a draft so far - and time is basically up on that class.
2019 had 10 picks. Seider seems to be the only pick of consequence. Might get something out of Johanson, but not a home run. Out of 31 second rounders in 2019 only 10 have not played in the NHL yet. We have 3 of those 10. That’s just pathetic.
2020 has 12 picks. Raymond is the real deal. You’d expect nothing less at #4. A lot of us were pushing for a C there - myself included - and it’s good we went BPA. Of the remaining 11 picks Wallinder seems to be the only one that there’s much hope left for. Maybe Bednar too.

Those Bruins looked slow... like they didn't want to get the puck
I think they are just setting up the perfectly hilarious scenario where Toronto is leading in the 3rd period of Game 7 only to lose in a ridiculous disaster. And fans in Toronto will be crying and I will be joyously licking up their salty tears....

The Maple Leafs are doing it all over again to their fanbase.
I don't even know who I want to lose.
Probably the Bruins at this point. I'm sick of the Bruins and fuck Marchand into the stratosphere.
