So Detroit needs both Pittsburgh and Washington lose to get in.

Caps play the Flyers. Should be 2, but the Caps are old and playing back-to-back. And the Flyers have home-ice advantage.

Wednesday the Penguins play the Islanders at NYI.
Islanders have nowhere to go, so a Motivated Pittsburgh team will probably nullify any home ice advantage.
Flyers are eliminated now too.
They are not eliminated yet.
Oh you’re right. If everyone else loses and they win in regulation they’re in.

Reverse jinx worked. You're all welcome.

We can all take solace in the fact that if the Wings don't blow it for themselves tomorrow, the Flyers definitely will.

If they make it, they'll get destroyed in the first round. But, at least for one more day, it's nice to have something to play for.

Seider with 200+ hits and blocks. The last defenseman to accomplish this feat was Komisarek in 2007/08 season. However, Komisarek has never scored more than 19 points in a season. Seider has 41, a personal low!

I honestly thought Raymond was going to be just a decent winger, nothing special. He might be a legit stud, he’s scored in some pressure situations, I’d love to see how he reacts to the playoffs.
He just turned 22 last month. The best is still yet to come from him.
I saw something the other day comparing Raymond's numbers after 3 seasons to those of Kucherov and Pastrnak. Raymond has played more games with more goals and points. Hopefully Raymond can take that next step or two needed to become an elite winger. This season is encouraging. Kucherov really took off in seasons 4, 5 and 6.
Isn't Raymond and Seider represented by Lemieux? Fucking turtle must feel like he's won the lottery.

Intelligent stuff.
The first two years he shot 12.5 and 12.7 percent.
He's at 18 percent this season
The only guys who shoot that high with regularity @ volume are:
1) Hall of Famers
2) netfront guys
3) Breakaway artists.
So, my guess is Raymond gets paid and regresses even with higher minutes.
