Alright, time to tighten this shit up. It's getting too warm in here.

Right now, no place for a nervous person.

Whew, empty netter by Larkin to make it 6-3. But with the way the Isles are playing these last few, it's not over yet.

Wah made it exciting when he decided to pull the goalie with 5 min left.

Maybe the most important win of the season for Detroit.

Yeah, that entire line has been good. They go to the net and score all their goals from around the blue paint.

The Wings are a different team with Larkin.

It's wild how the Wings look like a completely different team with the simple addition of some overrated bum who's only averaged over a PPG and been a + player once in his career.

Larkin's a top line centre even if he's not an elite one. The Wings don't have a lot of high-end talent especially at C, more 2-way type forwards who don't come close to being able to carry a line or play with skilled players. Besides Raymond and maybe Kane, no one can be a driver right now, and those 2 are wingers. With Larkin out, everyone is forced to play out of their comfort zone, especially the centres and we end up with stretches like the one in December and March.
In an ideal world, Compher is your 3C, there's a Larkin level 2C and no Copp. Another top 6 winger who's an upgrade of Perron/Rasmussen/Veleno or whoever else they slot next to Larkin/Raymond. That team should be able to better manage missing a Larkin.
