Name another less than point/game guy - every year of his career... and MINUS guy every year but once in his career .... who gets treated like he's a fucking star. He's 58th in league scoring.
Jonathan Toews.
Nice +/- caveat there though. The most legendary cherry picked stat of all time.
Be a nice experiment to give Dylan those Blackhawks teammates and put Toews on the last 8 years of Red Wings and see what happens to that +/-.
We got a nice 6 year sample size of what happens to a Toews +/- when he's on a bad team surrounded by mostly crap.
You're an idiot.
Toews.
Will be a hall of famer.
1 Selke. 2nd place Selke twice. Fourth place twice. Third place once. Five place once.
Conn Smythe Winner.
Messier winner.
3 Cups.
Hart voting - 6th, 4th, 9th, 10th.
All star - 2nd, 3rd, 7th (3times) 8th (2x)

Larkin
Finished 20th for Selke voting once. (Didn't include anything beyond 8th for Toews).
Larkin has very little defensive IQ. He's a skater and hustler. But he's dumb as a rock.

Islanders lose.
Chance for the Wings to get hot against shit teams and make some room.

Every game went Detroits way for once. Now they have to do their part and not suck against Buffalo

Dylan Larkin
All star - 2nd, 3rd, 7th (3times) 8th (2x)
One season where he averaged over a PPG in his entire career.
Negative +/- once the Blackhawks roster was equivalent to what Larkin has had to work with.
Per your own metrics, he's mid.

Dylan Larkin has achieved very little outside his own bank account.

Toews could end up a first-ballot Hockey Hall of Fame.
Larkin probably will get a blurb one day when elected to the Michigan Hall of Fame.

Just going by your own metrics chief. You asked who gets treated like a star who was less than a PPG player, and Toews was minus player when his team's roster wasn't loaded. I answered.
