Colorado picked up Duhaime from the Wild and Trenin from Nashville for picks.

"The Hurricanes and Penguins are close to a trade that would send star winger Jake Guentzel to Carolina, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reports. Forward Michael Bunting is expected as part of the return to Pittsburgh."

Seems I predicted this a couple months ago. I said Bunting and Drury and a pick would be the return. 2 NHLer's would help keep the dream alive in Pittsburgh. The Canes have a boatload of prospects the Pens would want also.

Sharks package Duclair and a 7th round pick to Tampa for a 3rd round pick... also, Florida was able to get Tarasenko for such a low return because apparently that was the only team he would agree to be traded to.

Some speculate that Y may be after a goalie. Markstrom's name came up!
Get Markstrom and sell Reimer to the Oil and Husso (most likely in the summer)

I see a lot of people poking fun at Dubas, but he absolutely killed it with the Guentzel deal... a 1st round pick, an NHL regular in Bunting, two solid prospects in Ponomarev and Koivunen, another prospect is Lucius, and a 5th rounder. Holy shit! Canes better sign Guentzel long-term and hope that Ty Smith becomes a player.

Devils trade Tyler Toffoli to the Jets. Haven't heard details yet.

Apparently for draft picks.
