Detroit heads to Sweden - with one Swede

Looks like Lucas Raymond is the only Swede on the roster.
Seems hard to believe in two ways.
1) For years, Swedes dominated the lineup. One year I think we had seven Swedes in the lineup. The were vital, especially to the post-lockout success.
2) More recently, only last year, Berggren and Soderblom played substantial time with the Wings, so it seems like they should have been logical choices to be on the team this year. Edvinsson feels like another guy who should be here by now.

So we're sort of in a weird spot.
You have to go back to 1995 to find a season where there's only one Swedish flag on the Detroit Red Wings Hockeyreference roster.
