I love the idea of Spring and Kostin -
But at the expense of opportunity for Soderblom and Kasper?
That doesn't seem smart. Not for a team that's going to finish 20th at best

Take the Ls.
Finiish 27th.
Get your top 5 pick or whatever

This looks about right, except I think Copp will play on the wing and Compher will play C.

Gostisbehere will probably play 2nd pair RD.

Some of the draft picks will probably eventually grow on me but I don't like any of the new guys other than ASP and Kostin

LOL.

Who'd have guessed Yzerman was a quanity, not quality dude.
Hey our 5th line and 4th pairing are among the BEST in the NHL.

Kasper and maybe Berggren to the AHL?
Zadina traded?

I can see Zadina getting exposed on waivers. With so many teams up against the cap the chances of him getting claimed are low.

We have a ton of forwards now. We have no true 1st line players other than Larkin and he’s really still a 2C on a contender. Apparently we don’t need first line players either since we chose no to draft them.

I wonder if we’re gonna shop Copp. He seems to be very redundant with the Compher signing and both Kasper & Danielson should be ready for 2C and 3C roles before Copp or Compher’s deal is up.

I also wonder if a blockbuster Larkin trade is within the realm of possible now. Obviously we’d be tanking, but running Compher, Copp, Kasper & Veleno down the middle would let us roll 4 lines that have an NHL caliber C. The long term commitment to Compher with our #2 prospect a C and our most recent pick a close to NHL ready C kind of look like either something is in the works or that we just don’t have a plan at all.

Gudas going to Anaheim really indicates that winning wasn’t his top priority. I really wonder if we were in the mix for him at all.

This organization is an absolute shit show right now.

Ras - Larkin - Perron
Kasper - Compher - Raymond
Kubalik - Copp - Sprong
Berggren - Veleno - Fabbri
Zadina

Wallman - Seider
Edvinsson - Ghost
Chiarot - Holl
Maatta - Lindstrom

Husso
Reimer

That’s what it’s looking like to me.

Not as good as last year’s team. Perron, Kubalik & Ghost all deadline trade bait.

That leaves some openings for next year when we celebrate Celebrini.

I think we’re a bottom 5 team right now.
