Too bad the Wings won't get a shot at Anton Silayev. 6'7, 211 pounds and playing defense in the KHL at 17 years old and doing well. Imagine having a top 4 of Edvinsson, Seider, Silayev and ASP assuming all of them reach their potential. That could be a pretty solid top 4 with some size and mobility.

These are Texas Stars. Jimmy Nill killing it.
Undersized gems!
Just saw Stankoven score his first NHL goal in his second game tonight. Has two points. He sure is small!

Adam Jiricek Looks to be a good Wings pick! or Emil Hemming, Michael Hage.

Hage has a lot of upside and fits the mold of what Stevie is looking for. I’d be thrilled to land him at 32!

Our prospect pool is looking pretty good except for the lack of elite talent. I think the depth we have there puts us in a great spot to take a big swing. I can see a lot of teams staying away from Chernysov. If he’s available when we pick he’s probably my top target. I like Hage and Boisvert too. I don’t want to use our first on a D this year. Between Seider, Edvinsson, ASP, Wallinder & Gibson we’ve got enough there. Larkin & Raymond are arguably the only top 6 players in the org under 30. Kasper, Danielson & Berggren all have a shot there - and a few others - but we’re still really lacking in the forward pipeline overall.
