Ovechkin at 8-4-12 in his last 8.
Good chance to score 30 maybe.

He has scored as many goals in his last 8 games as he has in the previous 43. He needs 56 to tie Gretzky's record. If he can play 2 more seasons, he should be able to do it.
Leads the team in scoring despite missing 3 games

There is a new heavyweight youngster in the NHL at 6'8, 241 pounds. He fought Matt Martin this season and now fought Deslauriers and did well in both of them. I don't know if he can play at all since i haven't watched a full game but he seems to be willing and able to scrap.

Good for him. I saw he had no points in 3 games so far and his points in the AHL aren't much so i don't think they have him for points. I just wonder if he can skate well enough, hit, forecheck and be decent enough defensively to not be a liability. He would have been a much better draft pick than what Draper chose in that round...Kyle Aucoin, a 5'10, 164 pounds LD that has a grand total of 5 points in 3 years (62 games) in the NCAA and a -5 plus/minus.

Ovechkin scored a goal tonight as the VCpas blanked the Pens 6-0 giving him 10 goals in his last 15 (over 50 goal pace) after only scoring 8 in his first 43 making it 840 goals for his career 54 away from the record.
