What's with Chicago? Loading up on veteran players. First Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno from Boston. Today, they picked up Josh Bailey from the Isles and Corey Perry from TB.

Gotta get to the cap floor. They sign Perry and their RFA's and they are there! They are buying out Baily.

I wonder if Yzerman would look at Duchene on a short, low salary deal for 2nd line center. He would be an upgrade over Copp offensively. Only problem is every team this guy goes to seem to get worst when he gets there. There was also that video in the uber of him and a couple of Sens players ripping the Sens coaching staff that leaked out at that time so maybe he is part of the problem despite his skill...that would likely not be a move Yzerman makes after having to eat half the salary for Vrana.
