After Domi got traded, Athanasiou moved to center for the final 11 games of the season.
In 11 games he went 6-7-13 with 41 shots. At ES he was 5-5-10.
He was -5 - but the Hawks were a disaster.

Back in 18-19, Athanasiou finished strong at C too.
16 games 8-7-15. 47 shots +1. 8-4-12. +1.

In 18-19, he had lots of Glendening/Helm/Hirose on his line.
In 22-23, he had lots of Anders Bjork on his line.

I was always pissed that Blashill removed him center after 1-2 games back in 19-20. Can't remember the line, but I think it was with Abdelkader and Hirose. You'd need to be Connor Fucking McDavid to be effective with that group.

AA is a skater. The closer he is to the boards, the less effective he is.
At center, he's got room to make things happen,
