Red Wings haven't been in the playoffs since 15-16

Vegas entered the NHL in 17-18. They've been in the playoffs of five of six years, including 2 trips to the final four and another trip to the finals.

Meanwhile, Seattle has made the playoffs in their second year and they are one win away from the Final 4.
