Don’t really want any of those guys. I think Hayes interests me most. O’Reilly & Toews would require contracts that we’d probably start to really regret by year 2.
My thoughts exactly. Hayes would be the cheapest to get because he would be a cap dump also. Philly has $75+M and only 15 signed for next year.
Philly, of course, would need to retain salary. But their asking price would be cheap. A prospect or an NHL salary under $2M or maybe even a pending UFA. Hayes is a so-called PP specialist with bad defensive metrics, but if put with wingers with good defensive metrics that may be OK. He should also improve the PP.

Yeah, I think even without retained salary Hayes may come in with the best cap hit, and maybe even term of all of them. I think there’s a little less risk of severe decline in his game over 4 years too.

But really I’d just love to run out:
Rasmussen - Hayes - Soderblom
Edvinsson - Seider

might be the biggest 5 any team in the league could run out.

Vegas signs Lombardi's teammate, playmaking center Matyas Sapovaliv to an ELC contract. He is on a point a game pace with 11 goals and 19 assists and currently playing on the Canada crushing Czech team at the WJC.

Probably. I'm not going to math out every team, but I imagine the Jets and Sabres are the only teams that would come within an inch:

Detroit Red Wings: 6'5.8"
Simon Edvinsson: 6'6"
Moritz Seider: 6'4"
Michael Rasmussen: 6'6"
Kevin Hayes: 6'5"
Elmer Soderblom: 6'8"

Winnipeg Jets: 6'5"
Brendan Dillon: 6'4"
Logan Stanley: 6'7"
Morgan Barron: 6'4"
Adam Lowry: 6'5"
Blake Wheeler: 6'5"

Buffalo Sabres: 6'4.8"
Owen Power: 6'6"
Mattias Samuelsson: 6'4"
Dylan Cozens: 6'3"
Tage Thompson: 6'7"
Alex Tuch: 6'4"
