I thought Buffalo was crazy to sign this guy to a 7 year 50 million contract after just one good season. He seems to be proving me wrong and Buffalo is looking smart having him locked up long term for just 7.1 mil a year.

He’s a winger with 100 mph shot and size. He’s basically what we hope Soderblom develops into. He’s got size, never really played that physical but knows how to use us his size and wing span to protect the puck. Not a great skater but between his size and stick handling skills, he can possess the puck, carry it through traffic and he’s got a great shot with a quick and accurate release. He’s everything E would have been if we’d moved him to wing.
