both are interesting picks. above average hockey sense. hard workers. neither looks particularly skilled from reading reports, but i haven't watched either play yet.

I had seen Dylan James in the mocks around the number 40 pick, but I honestly was looking past him since he was LW and didn't seem to stand out compared to a number of other players in the draft. Curious to know what the Wings like about him.

Honestly, I have not looked at a stat or a second of footage on Buchelnikov, but I was thinking we would take a different russian foward around this time (Zhilkin).

I'm thinking my earlier assessments about Yzerman drafting "skill>sense>>>skating" may actually be hockey sense and compete above all other traits.
