Rangers win, 5-3, stay alive for one more game. Their big comeback came when Crosby left the game hurt.

Panthers down 3-0 till halfway through 2nd, come back and tie Caps by the end of the period. Now ahead 4-3 fairly early in the 3rd.

No punishment for the hit, apparently. Which I agree with.

Bruins stave off elimination, take Carolina to game 7. Tampa scores late in 3rd to tie the Leafs. Going to OT. Leddy score for the Blues late in 1st, 1-0 Blues.

Glad Blues pulled it off. Maybe because I hold a grudge against Minnesota for roughing up the Wings this season.

Personally, I'd like to see Matthews advance to the next round. Tampa could use a first round exit.

Too bad LA couldn't finish off Kenny's pet project.

Lastly, fuck the Bruins.

Another crazy game in the Rangers v. Pens series. One of the better series I've seen in a long time.

2-0 Pens to 2-3 Rangers, now 3 all after Malkin scores on a breakaway. I can't believe this only the first round.

For me the best playoffs hockey is in the first round. After first round intensity, speed are going down at least a level. Simply because by second round players as much energy as when playoffs begin. It's very specific to NHL playoffs, it's not the case with other sports.

I hope Rags can win 3 in a row. Two down, one to go.

Florida takes the Caps 4-3 in OT to win their first playoff series in 26 years when they went to the Cup Final vs the Avs. Maybe they'll meet again in the Final.

26 years since the last advance is an incredible stat.

Meanwhile, as bad as it's been for us this last 6 seasons, the last time we were past the 1st round was in 2012-13... just 10 seasons ago.

Crosby practiced today, but he did not look full speed. I'm guessing he won't play and the Pens will crumble into the ocean tomorrow, once and for all.
