Correa's price tag just went to $350M and I don't think Tigers will spring for that. Rangers are going nuts on the free agent front.

And they got Simien, another SS. So he'll play 2nd and Seager SS. Rangers in for half a billion in this free agent market. Don't know how smart this is. They were horrible last year and these acquisitions don't make them playoff contenders. They better have some good prospects coming up.

Tigers sign SS Javier Baez to a 6 yr $140 million contract. Would'vepreferred Correa, but I guess Baez will do.

Correa is going to get ~ $350 for ten years. Much more expensive and longer commitment than Baez. Baez strikes out a lot. So do the Tigers. So it's not an ideal synergy but he is still a terrific player and a huge upgrade. Tigers saved some bucks on Baez so maybe they can spend the extra elsewhere.

Who's watching Beatles--Get Back on Disney +? I think it's fascinating though the critics act like it's borefest nothing. Kinda like PZ making Lucas Ray Ray out as a lucky nothing.
