Sure good to see Nick Libett. Always liked him. Battled cancer for awhile, looking better.

Tampa scoring on that last pp and then tying it was kind of predictable.

So was that I guess.

Tampa totally rules OT. Wings never had a chance.

Disappointing finish, but at least we got some offense going. We needed 3 games last season to reach 6 GF.

Both Raymond and Seider got a helper. Raymond, I believe on a Bertuzzi goal. Seider also on a different Bertuzzi goal. And it appeared Tampa was trying to intimidate Seider a bit. During stop in play, near the benches, Hedman kind of gave Seider a little push, Seider responded. Then Sergachev stepped in and gave Seider a harder shot and Seider responded with one of his own, nearly knocking Sergachev over. I think both might have got roughing calls. Not sure.
My my, just checked the box score. Seider assisted on two Bertuzzi goals, as did Leddy.

Seider and Raymond looked pretty good for a 1st NHL game. Seider gave as good as he got physically, and didn't look overwhelmed by the moment. Raymond was playing uptempo and looked good with Larkin and Bert. Refs sucked, and looked like they were stargzing at Tampa all night. Larkin got boarded pretty hard into the glass and Johnson got a 5, meanwhile Larkin got a game for responding. Later Palat got 2 for cross checking, when it should have been a 10 given the "emphasis the league is applying to it". Powerplay looked half decent too. PK and 3 on 3 was woeful. 3 on 3 looked like 3 practice pylons arranged around the goalie and that was about the extent for about 90% of it.

I fell asleep during parts when the wheels really came off, but Seider was having exactly the game I was hoping for and expected. Composed with a few offensive flashes, over and above the power play time. I think I saw him help paste somebody into the bench area.

Raymond looked OK, he showed flashes early but seemed to get lost in the shuffle after the Larkin kerfuffle. The lack of another legitimate Center at all became glaring at that point.
