Re: So do we buy?
Tsn or something had a rumor of Kane to the Oilers if Yzerman decides to sell
Could we be sellers and buyers or is that a silly dream

I was being sarcastic And taking a shot at copp and comp here who produce jack shit just like StromeFil Zaronek wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 9:52 amYou're not very good at math. Compher has 21 points in 49 games (almost half a point a game) and scored 48 in 77 last year
I don't think Strome is much better than Compher and Copp if at all.

Re: So do we buy?
A lot of ink is being used to say that Taresenko should be traded before 3-7-25, and if not bought out this summer. However, the only club he might go to is FLA, and they might not want him even if it is for $2.25M (half salary thru '25-'26 season). I hope he gets traded and does better some where else, he has overstayed his welcome in Detroit. Of course, Tank can say no to all except being waived, I hope it does not come to that.

Re: So do we buy?
Jamie Oleksiak could be available and has played the RS. He has 1 more yr at $4.6M
Would he be worth Berggren and a 3rd? I don't know his advanced stats. If the Wings could get him and send Holl down, then maybe they could retain a little on Holl and receive a 6th or 7th for him.

I was hoping the Wings would trade for Oleksiak for a long time. I suggested trading for him before he was dealt to Dallas for a 4th but i think Yzerman is going to want a righty and is probably interested in Byram and/or RistolainenDelHowLich wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:07 pm Jamie Oleksiak could be available and has played the RS. Re: So do we buy?
Some Red Wing proposal, BUT I DON'T SEE THE HAWKS TAKING A COUPLE SCRUBS
Red Wings acquire:
Tyler Bertuzzi
Alec Martinez ($2 million retained)
Blackhawks acquire:
Tyler Motte
Justin Holl
2025 first-round pick
2026 third-round pick
The proposed deal would be an intriguing one as Detroit would re-acquire Bertuzzi and add a veteran defenseman in Martinez. In return, they would deal a first and third-round pick as well as two depth NHL players.
