So what scoring winger do the Wings target for their top 6?
Patrick Kane unlikely to return to Red Wings next season

Let Sprong & Kane go. Sign Fischer and maybe Perron. Let Kasper, Mazur, Berggren, Soderblom & Danielson battle for the spots.

Maybe you target one elite goal scorer through FA or trade, but otherwise let the kids fill in the holes and come what may.
I could see the Laffs being a partner for a trade. They are about to get bounced again. That team needs serious changes if they ever want to win anything.

I also wonder if Steve will find preferred a destination for Kane and do either a sign and trade or a rights trade. Something like Kane to BUF for a later round pick or sign him to 4yrs at BUF preferred numbers and then consummate a trade.

Be okay with Marner
Don’t think I’d like the price though
They would be looking for players not prospects and needing D and goalie
So Petry Jonny Burgers Husso and a 1st for Marner

Reality is, even if they only commit 15 million (in reality it will be more) of cap space to Seider and Raymond, they won't have cap space to sign Kane or anyone that would require as much
Thought about that but Marner makes close to 11 mil per season and is a UFA after next season...he's likely going to want even more to sign a new deal. Maybe if they sent them Copp and Holl to make the money work better
