Our drafting and development of players has been terrible for what feels like decades now.

Those years of shaking our heads in amazement at what the Wings were able to do in the later rounds of the draft are LONG gone.

But he's taken some pretty good injuries.
He was never fast.
He'll be 29 in October.
He's gonna get paid.
