If you don't mind me asking, did you fall on a flat surface? Were you running on the street?Wizard of Corsica wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 10:02 amIndeed HT, these falls are becoming more common, and these shoulder traumas are not cheap to recover from. Not sustainable.holytoledo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 1:44 pmOh man. It’s stuff like this that makes my 0.0 bumper sticker genius. Glad you’re on the mend.Wizard of Corsica wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 1:29 pm Hello Hosers! I took a fall while running in February and had to do a stint on LTIR with a separated shoulder and 2 torn rotator cuffs. I am glad to be back typing again, let's slow this regression to the mean here.
I am thinking I have to switch to treadmills full time, or swimming. Or just accept old age.

Throughout history, every old man said the same thing about the younger generation. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'.

I don't understand how these fucking refs get to keep their jobs. Second game in a row a blunt fucking crosscheck right in front of their fucking eyes!! I mean, honestly, how do you NOT call that?? What does it take to lose a job as a referee in this fucking league. When will Batman kick he bucket so we can have someone who actually cares about the game running the league?
I hope our coaches makes the entire fucking team practice shooting on the empty net from the other end. I mean these are professional hockey players and couldn't do it once in like 6 or 7 attempts!!!???

I am open to leaving the bong home during runs lasting less than an hour. Anything more drastic is a bridge too far.holytoledo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 1:19 pmMaybe save the weed for after your runsWizard of Corsica wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 10:02 amIndeed HT, these falls are becoming more common, and these shoulder traumas are not cheap to recover from. I was running on the sidewalk. My feet do not get far off the ground, if I am not paying attention I am bound to trip over cracks if I am running fast.CoconutBackwards wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 12:34 pm If you don't mind me asking, did you fall on a flat surface? Were you running on the street?
