Lyon got them the extra point, he played very well. He was strong in Nashville and strong again here today, hopefully he can continue this level of play the last few games.

at least Lyon had a good game.
Six powerplays for the team with 22 shots.
2 powerplays for the team with 38.
The reffing was killing Florida all game.
Detroit was fortunate to get a point here.

This game was emblematic of what a difference good goaltending makes for the Red Wings. Lyon made some great saves to keep them in the game and even gave them a chance to win in OT and SO. Lalonde may say that the Wings aren't in panic mode, but you could see they were squeezing their sticks extra tight. Debrincat in particular had several glorious chances and didn't bury them. He's been pretty disappointing after his hot start.

At this point, they are competing with the Flyers for the final wild card spot. Two points behind with a game in hand. Seems doable, but I have zero confidence in them right now. This team is such a fucking mess...

They're 3-10-2 in their last 15 games since wearing the garbage patch.
