I couldn't believe Veleno was slumping that badly but then I checked it out and he's got 1A in his last 12 games but 3G 4A in his 11 games before that.
Things just started to fall apart for a lot of the team the last 12 games, it's unfortunate because even .500 hockey since then would've had them comfortably in a playoff spot right now.

Detroit's success was largely smoke and mirrors. But you don't expect a statistical correction to hammer you all at once.
