Yeah, if there’s even a question about whether or not a Veleno for Lindholm deal, then he’s not worth it.cska91 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 7:35 am I've cooled down considerably on Lindholm. He's looked rather pedestrian following the trade... last thing I want the Wings to do is commit to a player like that long term and then have to dump him via buyout or a trade that requires salary to be retained and picks to sweeten the deal.

Hawks trade Beauvillier to the Preds for a pick, 5h rd this year, I believe.
Holy Schnikes! Vegas gave up a ton to get Hanifin... After trading Hanifin, Tanev, and Lindholm, the Flames have:
Two (2) 1st round picks
2nd round pick
Two (2) 3rd round picks
4th round pick
Kuzmenko, Grushnikov, Miromanov, and a couple of propsects
That is quite a haul... Conroy is on fire, no pun intended.

Kenny picked up Troy Stecher and a 7th rounder from the Yotes for a 4th round pick. The Wings were only able to get a 7th rounder for Stecher a couple of years ago. Doubt he's gotten any better, but Kenny is generous. LOL!

Watching the Leafs give out mid-round picks like candy on Halloween in return for 3rd pair Dmen has me wondering why Yzerman hasn't gotten in on the fun. Wings have 3rd pair Dmen to spare... it's been their specialty for some tie now.

Since Johansen cleared, someone could trade for him and have Philly retain half for maybe a 4th. Philly clearly does not want him. Maybe the Hawks or Ducks offer more.
Hell I would give them Copp for RyJo at half salary!

Copp at least plays a two hundred foot game. Johansen is a one dimensional player whose offense has dried up.DelHowLich wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 2:18 pm Since Johansen cleared, someone could trade for him and have Philly retain half for maybe a 4th.
