I think they've licked the issue pretty good by drafting Korchinski, but look at this shit.
Top 2 rounds Since Seabrook in 2003

2004 - Barker, 3rd
2005 - Simon Danis Pepin, 61st
2007 - Akim Aliu, 56th
2009 - Dylan Olsen, 28th
2010 - Justin Holl, 54th
2011 - Adam Clendening, 36th
2012 - Dillon Fournier, 48th
2013 - Carl Dahlstrom, 51st
-- The small defense era begins --
2016 - Chad Krys, 45th
2017 - Henri Jokiharju, 29th; Ian Mitchell, 57th
2018 - Adam Boqvist, 8th; Nicolas Beaudin, 27th
Only Mitchell is still in the organization.
---
2019 - Alex Vlasic, 43rd
2021 - Nolan Allen, 32nd
2022 - Kevin Korchinski, 7tth; Sam Rinzel, 25th

They did draft Hjalmarsson way back when. I saw that kid as a late first rounder that year. I would have been happy with him over Kindl. He was every bit as good as Jack Johnson in the 4 Nations tournament I watched at the Cube.
