Took a puck off the kneecap last night... Ouch, that has to hurt.

I'm happy with his development but let's stop kidding ourselves that he is a great player. He is good and hopefully he will get better but losing him out of this lineup should do very little

Some knob on Hfboards said he's finally justifying his draft selection.
WTF?

Rasmussen vs other guys talked about that year at 9 overall.
Rasmussen 56 games 10-19-29
Players picked below him:
Tippett 56 games 17-15-32 (considered a bust by many)
Vilardi 51 games 18-14-32
Necas 58 games 23-29-52
Suziki 59 games 20-26-46
Josh Norris (injured after a 35 goal last year)
Robert Thomas 56 games 13-36-49
Filip Chytil 52 games 19-17-36

Literally there are seven forwards selected between Rasmussen and Yamamoto at 22nd.
I'd take all seven ahead of Rasmussen.

I would not say he has justified his draft selection at this point, but he does not have to apologize for it any more, either.

He is worth the money they are paying him, and that is ALL that is important!

He's not scoring like a top 10 pick, but he has definitely made a positive impact this season. He's the most physical from the group that Pop posted and is developing into a solid 2-way forward who can PK and cycle the puck in the O-zone. His points-per-game have gone up every single year. Right now, over the course of the entire season, you're looking at 40 points/15 goals from him.
