Legitimacy of the Stanley Cup final

Post by EuroMan »

Anyone else is questioning the Cup final due to both Colorado goals in Game 6 and the OT goal in Game 4 were all not legitimate and should have not counted?

No. Whining about the officiating is obnoxious and 99% of the time overblown anyway. The better team won. Tampa Bay got outplayed. Cooper looked like a clown arguing about the too many men. It happens. Refs are human. And anyway, Tampa had seven guys on the ice when that happened. It’s all whataboutism. Just play the game and shut your mouth like the professionals you’re paid millions to be.

Yes, I think it's an illegitimate win. Crowds were certainly bigger in Tampa. Some say they had the biggest crowds ever. But, Bettman and the fake news decided to hand the victory to Sleepy Colorado.

Not even a little.
Throughout history, every old man said the same thing about the younger generation. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'.

If we're not going acknowledge cups due to lousy officiating we better start with the Pens 2009 win against us. Let us know when you get that illegitimate win over turned, then we can talk about this one.
