One wonders how many of them are sick, much less at Death's door.

Barring any change in approach by the NHL, I wonder, how many players enter Covid protocol more than once.

And I go back to noting that on the last Wings' broadcast that the commentators noted that Larkin had the flu, but played through it. Noting here that the flu is far more deadly to people in Larkin's age group than is Covid.

Yzerman himself said the other day he didn't think players should have to test unless symptomatic.
He said most guys don't get more than cold-like symptoms.

https://www.clickondetroit.com/sports/2 ... -symptoms/

This is how we pop the psychosis bubble.

I've been banned from hfboards and R/hockey for saying something supported by most studies - Immunity from infections is generally stronger than immunity from the vaccine.
The rats who run these communities can ban little guys like me, but they can't ban it when Yzerman or Ryan O'Reilly start breaking their bubbles.

Both HF/Detroit
And r/detroitredwings LOCKED discussion on Yzerman's comments.

That's how little respect they have for people.
The GM of the Detroit Red Wings questions a COVID restriction - and these power-hungry mods of Detroit Red Wing Hockey fan communities lock the threads.

I feel like you can discuss these things with others in person, but no one can handle it on the internet.
Throughout history, every old man said the same thing about the younger generation. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'.

Baloney.
Internet conversations aren't so different.

You go into Reddit and you see people saying things like:
"Unvaccinated people should not be treated at hospitals."
And shit like that gets upvoted.
It's allowed to stand without question. Without sanction.

That's some dangerous thinking. And it deserves to be challenged.

What's hard about talking about Yzerman's comments?
1. Do you test every day before you go to work?
2. Why should the players?
3. Is there a reason players are held to a tougher standard?

i think a difference between discussing in person versus on certain parts of the internet is that ridiculous groupthink logic, memes, and whathaveyou gets upvoted to the top while any and all conversational comment or counter-argument, no matter how polite or how well the argument is approached, gets buried. we don't have that downvote and bury nonsense here, but reddit sure does. facebook threads, right wing. reddit threads, left wing. twitter threads, chicken wing. etc.

Right.
Reddit is trash.
It's a great website for google searching things like:
Problem with pixel 5 alerts site:reddit.com

But for discussions, it's trash.

But I've always found the internet to be a good place to talk about things I find interesting and to learn from people.
