I don't know, we have you hanging around here. Seriously, I wouldn't want him either. Talented and tough, but also just plain stupid. I can almost see him coming to Detroit though. First thing Marian Illitch says to him, "have you seen my casino"?

There was a rumor yesterday about some team in the Eastern Conference interested in trading for him. Sounds like San Jose put out that rumor trying to generate some interest in him, lol.

If the Sharks want to send us a Kane, a first and a prospect for Steucher and a 3rd or something I'm down. He's only got 3 years left on his deal.

hes too toxic. we have a ton of really good young players and what i still believe to be an amateur league coach. REcipe for disaster.

I agree that he's toxic, but he doesn't have to be on the roster. Ideally, Yzerman would waive him and demote him to GR. I doubt he'd actually show up, so the only impact would be his cap hit. If we could get a 1st round pick or a solid prospect out of this deal, I'd go for it.

It doesn't matter anyway. SJ has cap room, so there's no pressing need for them to offer high picks/prospects.
