Brock Boeser for Zadina
The Canucks reportedly want to make changes.
Boeser salary: $5.875M. RFA at the end of the year.
Stats this year: 16 games 4-4-8 -3 40 shots. Yuck.
Upside:
17-18 - 29-26-55 in 62 games
18-19 - 25-30-56 in 69 games
19-20 - 16-29-45 in 57 games
20-21 - 23-28-49 in 56 games
Prior to this season, this guy scored at a 30-goal pace in 3 of four years.
He's still only 24. Will be 25 at the end of February.
Right-hand shot.
Zadina this year: 20 games 3-4-7. 41 shots.

Re: Trade Proposal: Zadina for Boeser
I think Kenny would be ecstatic if he could acquire him in exchange for RNH. Zadina is a 40 goal scorer waiting to happen. Y should also ask Kenny to pay for clubhouse sodas for 3 years.
1.21 gigawatts! 1.21 gigawatts. Great Scott!
Re: Trade Proposal: Zadina for Boeser
Nothing against Boeser aside from the fact he isn't a center. Pettersson was put on the Nucks 3rd line recently...send them Rasmussen for Pettersson that way they get a much cheaper 3rd line center Could also expand the deal to Pettersson and Boeser for Ras, Zadina and Drapers kid

According to Eklund, both Boeser and Bo Horvat are available. Canucks seem to be following the Canadiens in making changes, but with players for now instead of management.

i really think elias is the better target. pettersson played 13 minutes last night. speculation has it that he's not happy playing in vancouver. we are re-establishing the swedish mafia. would zadina and our 2021 first be enough to acquire pettersson?

He's a soft prima donna who is partly responsible for Vancouver's struggles.hiramnicak wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 7:32 pm i really think elias is the better target. pettersson played 13 minutes last night. speculation has it that he's not happy playing in vancouver. we are re-establishing the swedish mafia. would zadina and our 2021 first be enough to acquire pettersson?
Maybe I'd do Zadina + 2nd, but definitely not 1st.
Yes, he's got a lot of skill and good vision, but he's terrible on face-offs and can't carry the team. To be honest, I don't think he's the type of player Yzerman would want here.

But I can't say I've watched him enough to disagree.
I remember on draft day when people said he was just too small and that he'd never have the size to be a great NHLer (not height, but weight/strength).
