I think Pronman does more mocks than we do at this point. This is his third in the last month.

Also, as Pronman's gained media credentials and built relationships with NHL teams, his final lists have gotten pretty close to what goes down on draft day. Outside Bob McKenzie, I'm not sure anyone in the public sphere gets more hits. So if his sources are insinuating it goes down kind of like this, and we land Dvorsky (runners up: Danielson, Willander, Honzek) and Benson (runners up: Barlow, Simashev), sign me up.

No, I mean, if he goes 8th, I'm gonna be fucking pissed.
After Bedard, Michkov is the one guy in this draft I would bet has a good chance to be the kind of world class player who turns a franchise around.

That's what David Perron costs you.

I think I'd take Dvorsky/Benson.

Maybe 17 and 9 will fetch him if he is that close.

I would give up 9, 17 and a second for 5 to ensure we get one of Carlson, Smith or Michkov

if michkov drops to seven, and philadelphia doesn't want him, i hope stevie can trade ahead of washington and lock him down. give the flyers 9th and 41st. there's no reason to pass that up if you're a briere who isn't michkoving.

If he gets to 7, yep. Make that offer.
There's a time to be bold.
And let's be honest, Yzerman hasn't been very bold lately.
