The Nashville Predators are making an unexpected change behind the bench. Per an initial report from ESPN’s Kevin Weekes, Nashville has let go head coach John Hynes with a year left on his deal and is hiring former Florida Panthers interim head coach and current New Jersey Devils assistant Andrew Brunette.

And the Caps have hired Leafs Assistant Coach Spencer Carbury as their new head coach. And it looks like the Pens will be hiring Kyle Dubas as their new GM, and Gerard Gallant is supposed to interview for the Flames HC job.

Meh, he can play either wing and is one of Larkin’s BFFs. He’s only got a year left. Maybe send them Perron 50% retained for Mantha and a first instead. I’d still be willing to throw in Erne’s UFA rights. :)

If he bounces back and we wanna keep him his track record still probably makes his next deal cheap and/or short. If we don’t wannna keep him, then maybe he’s a deadline chip. If he sucks, put his size on the 4th line or send him to GR.

We can always just send him out to fight and then put him on LTIR when he breaks his hand.
