2023 NHL Entry Draft
Re: 2023 NHL Entry Draft
I don't know this guy or his scouting experience/rankings but i can't see Michkov not going in the 1st round. I think there is 0% chance of that happening where no team would take him. Why would any team out of the top even pass on him especially playoff teams knowing they can get a top 2 or 3 talent with a later 1st round pick. If he's there at the Wings pick, you run up to the podium and take him. I think you might see some Russians drop a few spots or at most a round but nothing like this guy says. Teams would draft the devil if he had the skills and they thought it will make their teams much better.

Re: 2023 NHL Entry Draft
the guy is paranoid and projecting. there is no evidence michkov’s father was murdered by the government to keep michkov in russia. none. it’s rather farfetched anyway, and doesn’t make sense. russia doesn’t need to murder anyone to keep michkov in russia. if he can’t play internationally and doesn’t have a passport, he can’t defect.dcz28 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 2:04 pm I don't know this guy or his scouting experience/rankings but i can't see Michkov not going in the 1st round. Yeah, if the Wings aren’t picking first or second and pass on Michkov with their first pick I will lose what’s left of my mind. If they pass again with the Islanders pick I will launch DDoS attacks on every Illitch owned web site and deploy robo dialers to call every little caesar’s pizza continuously that simply scream Fire Yzerman until he’s gone.dcz28 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 2:04 pm I don't know this guy or his scouting experience/rankings but i can't see Michkov not going in the 1st round. I could see Michkov sliding to maybe 6, but I think the odds of him lasting past 4 are extremely low.

Re: 2023 NHL Entry Draft
Scouts are telling Sandin Pellikka that he projects as a Nils Lundkvist type of defenseman.

"Obviously Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes are extremely skilled," he said. "But my comparable would probably be Nils Lundkvist - I've heard that from scouts and coaches, so I try to play like him, too."

"I feel I'm just a smart player and I think I'm a threat in the offensive zone too," he said. "I like to watch Cale Makar (Colorado Avalanche) and Quinn Hughes (Vancouver Canucks), but I've heard my comparable would probably be Nils Lundqvist with the Dallas Stars."
