Re: No. 8 - LC Marco Kasper
I think Craig Button implied that Edvinsson won't be going to the WJC as well in the latest Word on Woodward (17:50) I don't understand why they wouldn't unless they are hurt
Re: No. 8 - LC Marco Kasper
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, I only partially listened to it last night while doing other things, but I got the impression from what Button said that Edvinsson is choosing not to go because he wants to focus on making the Red Wings. Could have misinterpreted and/or misheard, though.Fil Zaronek wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 2:01 pmI think Craig Button implied that Edvinsson won't be going to the WJC as well in the latest Word on Woodward (17:50) I don't understand why they wouldn't unless they are hurt

That was my understanding. He's got his sights set on Detroit.Duke wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 3:28 pm

What's Kasper's excuse?

I'm pretty sure that that is what he meant but I don't understand how going to the WJC would affect his focus on making the Red WingsDuke wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 3:28 pmSomeone can correct me if I’m wrong, I only partially listened to it last night while doing other things, but I got the impression from what Button said that Edvinsson is choosing not to go because he wants to focus on making the Red Wings. I had forgotten all about the '22 Juniors. Why train and play in August and then reload for the next one after that a few months later?
1.21 gigawatts! 1.21 gigawatts. Great Scott!

That it’s asinine to be trying to squeeze in WJC 22. It was asinine they tried to stage it in the first place given Canada’s restrictions.Zattaman wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 3:59 pmThat was my understanding. He's got his sights set on Detroit.Duke wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 3:28 pm
