Savard has done a nice job with the Spits this year. Wonder if he's on Stevie's radar.

Read on Red Wings feed that the Wings interviewed former Ranger coach, David Quinn. Quinn, another great college coach, but only ok while coaching the Rangers. Red Wings feed also says former Wings player and asst coach under Babcock, Jim Hiller, could be a head coaching candidate. Not sure where he's been since Babcock left.

I never thought of Fedorov as possible future coaching material when he was playing but I always thought Larionov and Stevie could probably be good ones.
I've been pulling for Sergei to be the coach all year. He crushed it in the KHL this year.Fil Zaronek wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 12:10 am I never thought of Fedorov as possible future coaching material when he was playing but I always thought Larionov and Stevie could probably be good ones.

I'm hoping for a rookie NHL coach instead of one of the retreads. Even better if it's a former Wing great and he definitely should have his number retired regardless of whether or not he rejoins the organization.Resmo112 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 8:21 amI've been pulling for Sergei to be the coach all year.
