And while he was very good for a month or good for two months...
For the season, Ned went
20-24-9 .901 3.31
vs Greiss
10-15-1 .891 3.66
Those are awful numbers.
He was better than Greiss. But Greiss was nearly Howard bad.
Here are some splits:
Home 12-10-7 .892 3.60
Road 8-14-2 .911 2.95
That's a weird one.
All star break
Pre - 13-13-5 .911 2.90
Post - 7-11-4 .887 3.88
By month
Oct. - .900 3.27
Nov. - .934 2.24 ***
Dec. - .899 3.30
Jan. - .899 3.10
Feb. - .845 5.27
Mar. - .891 3.78
Apr. - .905 3.36
I count one good month.
Seems like a lot of Wings have faith that Alex Nedeljkovic is a legit starter

I think he proved he can handle the job, I think the team as a whole took a nose dive after the ASB

He’s basically a placeholder for Cossa. He’s signed for next year. Cossa may see a few NHL games as early as next year. Put a better team in front of him and he’s more than adequate IMO.

Unless Cossa sucks.
Then who's Cossa a placeholder for?
Then who's Cossa a placeholder for?
Throughout history, every old man said the same thing about the younger generation. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'.

If Cossa sucks the new GM can sort that out.CoconutBackwards wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 8:02 am Unless Cossa sucks.

I think we’ll sign a journeyman type to a 2 year deal and evaluate Ned & Cossa at the end of the season.
