Pittsburgh is out. Game seven in overtime. Quite a game too. Guentzel’s kick-high-stick was pretty cool.

Pretty hilarious to see the Leafs get booted out in a game 7 in the first round again.
That fan base must be completely demoralized.
After all those playoff appearances and losses the Wings had in the 90s before they won made everything so much sweeter once they did and when the Leafs do finally pull it off that city is gonna party for months.

Throughout history, every old man said the same thing about the younger generation. And old men die, and the world keeps spinnin'.

They coughed up decent leads in each of the last 3 games. They have a lot of hard decisions to make this offseason.
Boston does too, I hope Bergeron strings them along for a while this Summer, that will make it hard to plan. Sifting through the feedback post mortem, the media and fan base is pretty terrified. Their core is getting ancient other than McAvoy, and they apparently have not very much in the pipleline.
It was my understanding there would be no math in the debates.

I'm ready for a nice stretch of time where the Bruins suck and Marchand is long gone.Wizard of Corsica wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 10:44 amThey coughed up decent leads in each of the last 3 games. They have a lot of hard decisions to make this offseason.

They do have Pastrnak, Carlo, Swayman, Hall and Lindholm also but if Charlie Coyle is your top center, you're in big trouble. The only prospect i can think that is decent is Lysell. DeBrusk still wants to be traded but i doubt they get that much for him or they would have traded him already.Wizard of Corsica wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 10:44 amThey coughed up decent leads in each of the last 3 games.
