Good but does that mean they are keeping Tanguay? At least Yzerman isn't waiting to drop the axe on Blashill. First step taken. Bring in Fedorov/Lidstrom or Larionov/Lidstrom to replace them. Would love to have Lidstrom working with Seider and the young defensemen.

Inevitable. But the hostility toward him is puzzling. He was saddled with horrendous talent and I don't think there is anything you can do with the likes of Zadina, Ras, and the other crap he inherited. Good luck to him.
