Yes but the Wings need to stop winning games. That not only will stop the Sens from passing them but they could end up passing Buffalo, Ducks and Sharks if they don't lose all their remaining games. Wings can still potentially end up out of the top 10 with 2 more wins or 3 points.holytoledo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 5:51 pmThey have 3 games left one vs NJD and one vs. Philly. If they pick up 4 points in their final 3 there’s a chance.

Re: TANK UPDATE
Of course the Red Wings are gonna beat Jersey twice and fall in the draft.
Of course.
Of course.
Re: TANK UPDATE
Wings lose to the Leafs and the Sens won in overtime against the Devils. Sens now back 1 point behind the Wings. Hopefully the Wings lose against the Devils and the Sens beat the Flyers.

Re: TANK UPDATE
The Wings are sitting at 8th last with a game to go.
If they win their last game, Ottawa loses one of their 2 remaining games and Buffalo loses both of their remaining games they could drop to 9th
If they lose their last game and Ottawa wins one of their remaining two games they would move up to 7th. They could even move up to 7th if they win as long as Ottawa wins both of their games and Buffalo wins one of theirs.

Re: TANK UPDATE
I think the first tie breaker is wins and if that is also tied it goes head to head matchup points. I'm not 100% sure on that though.Murmansk16A wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 11:56 pm If Detroit and Ottawa end the season tied on points, what is the tiebreaker?
Ottawa is likely to get destroyed tonight against Florida (although who knows the Habs beat the Rangers last night) and they should win against the Flyers. None of this will matter much if the Wings beat the Devils though since the Sens would need to beat both Florida (or at least get 1 point) and beat the Flyers.
Re: TANK UPDATE
ROW is the first tie breaker when two teams are tied on points. Right now, Detroit's ROW is 28 and can get no better than 29. Ottawa's is 29 and can go up to 31. If Detroit is tied with Ottawa in points, then Ottawa will likely have more ROW. If the two teams are tied in points and ROW, then the next tie breaker is Head to Head points. Ottawa has 6 head to head points and Detroit has 0.
