Re: Should the Wings offer $4,3M/Y to Cirelli? (or less)

Cirelli will never be a Wing, but in terms of his evaluation, keep in mind that his two full NHL seasons have been at ages 21 and 22. To answer HT, no, other than Larkin, there is no C in Detroit's system of that caliber. Oh well. Here's to hoping Veleno or Niederbach take another big leap or two i...

Beniers looks legit.

In that earlier game, Lambert.... just wow. Doing what he was doing at that age. Yikes.
How was Viro in that game?

It was a great shift. He was involved on a scoring chance earlier, stole the puck to maintain possession in the offensive zone before potting it.

Re: Red Wings Center Top Prospects

I'm interested to watch Soderblom in the tournament. Because, so far, I just don't see it with him. When I watch him, all I see is Johan Ryno. Great stick handler for being so huge, and a heady passer, but can't skate, low intensity, and not a two-way player. Boom or bust with these types, and 99.9...

Re: Should the Wings offer $4,3M/Y to Cirelli? (or less)

Besides Larkin do we have a C in the org with a higher ceiling that’s likely to reach it? Cirelli spent time at 1C last year on the Stanley Cup Champs. A team that has Point, Stamkos, Johnson & Gourde down the middle. If 4.3 lands him I’m all for it. If both Veleno & Niederbach surpass him ...

Re: Jonathan Berggren's D+3 Season

Level of competition in the SHL this year has been elevated. There are many players who would have normally been playing in North America but weren't because of the lockdowns. Seider, Veleno, Brome, Ehn and Grewe from the Wings alone are guys who played in the SHL this year but would have been in NA...

Re: Red Wings Prospect News & Highlights

Kronwall also didn't miss like 2 years worth of games to injury in his 3 most important development years. Berggren did and he has been killing it in his return to action. He has bumped himself up to 2nd best Wings' prospect in my books after looking like he may have his career derailed by injuries...
